Hi again.
There's no lock screen option on the rather elegant little menu that the logout button (top right of screen) in Xubuntu brings up.
Thanks to this post (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1021725&highlight=xfce+lock+screen), I now know that there is lock screen functionality and how to add an icon to the bar at the top of the screen.
My questions are: why isn't this added to the list of normal shutdown/logout options? And is it possible to add it oneself to that menu (i.e. not just create a special orphaned icon just for this one thing)?
Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask!
