Ubuntu be moved from 1 usb drive to another

Can ubuntu be moved from one usb harddrive to a larger usb harddrive with out reinstalling?

Yes. Boot from a live cd and simply start gparted, copy source and paste to target. Both drives must be unmounted and sufficient vacant space must exist on the target to accomodate the source.
