Just to say Hello

Hi to all.

Just to let everyone know that I likely have a skad of questions to ask.

I am very new to Ubuntu, just installed two days ago. Have a lot of hicoughs (no sound, computer freezed when I put in a CD, can't connect to internet ... well you see what I mean). I'll continue to troubleshoot myself for a couple of days but I know I will need some help - big time. This might even be fun
