How can installation Input. I want to change Input, like Chinese, Japenese.

e.g. scim and fcitx and so on.

The last, where have download those software.

And I want to download some Editors. Like C and Java. Where is have download it.

I in ubuntu 9.04 now

Hi, if you want to install scim and fcitx you can either search for them in Synaptic (System>Admin>Synaptic Package Manager)and install them or you can open a terminal (Applications>Accessories>Terminal) and install with

sudo apt-get install fcitx scim

Now I already install scim., but I can active and use it. Should I to do it?

You should be able to follow this (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SCIM) through to set it up.

Now I'm using ubuntu 9.04. But I'm can't using scim-pinyin too when I Reading your message to found the solution.
Maybe I was stupid.
Why I can't found the solution and where is my wrong?
Can you connection my machine and help me solve the problem.
