Windows back after ubuntu :( :(

Hey all,
as you know i am quite new but i have a problem now , i am student so i have to use windows in alot of tasks and now i need to reinstall windows again i have a windows visa and whenever i try to reinstall windows it goes fine until the final stage where it is completing installation , and then an error message appears saying something like '' windows cannot boot into the next step'' can anyone help me ?!?!?!?

If you need to, try dban.

(Be aware that it will wipe your hard drive clean.)

You should be able to install the OS of your choice, provided you are

using an install disk, and not a recovery disk.

If you are willing to wipe your drive entirely, get a gparted iso file and burn it to a cd. once you do, boot from the cd and delete all partitions on the disk and make the whole thing a ntfs filesystem. Then you should be able to use recovery cds fine
