Game Installing

I've got me a game and I like to see if it will work in linux. Now I'm still very new to linux and very much a windows fan for life. I put the cd in now how in the world do I get it to install?

If it's a windows game install wine from the repos run winecfg in terminal and then try to install the game using wine. You may be lucky, but if it is a new game it will probably not run very well, if at all.

You should check the CodeWeavers compatibility site first to see what rating your Windows app has. If it's not listed, that means it hasn't been tested and is most likely NOT to work. If the rating is silver or below, it's not going to be worth installing Wine just to try and get the game working.
