This is weird and very annoying. I used to use the super key with the letter T to open a terminal. It stopped working the other day. when I go into keyboard shortcuts under system>preferences every shortcut that involves the super key, doesnt work. Although the button physically works because it lets me make the shortcut. I also have the key combo set in the compizconfig settings manager under general options. this has always been setup like this.

Any ideas?

P.S. My keyboard is set to 105 keys like it has always been

I know you were expecting this question :-) so Ill oblige!!

Did anything change on your system recently or around the time you saw it stopped working?

Did you put on updates or add ons?

If you got to synaptic and review packages added (history) or updates applied, there may be something in there which could have caused this issue?
