Google have released the first officially blessed and Google branded release of chrome. Of course it's no different to the daily Chromium builds, but it does come with a different logo and the word 'Google Chrome' instead of 'Chromium'.
You can install it from http://dev.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel and scrolling down to 'For Linux' - it'll take you to the appropriate Google page to download.

Hmm... it seems the Google chrome build is even worse than the chromium build. It lacks the right click new tab function on the task bar.

You mean the menu with the task manager greyed out?
Doesn't work for me.
By the way here's another chrome mockup:

Where do you see that? If I right click on an open tab there is no Task Manager option. New tab works though.

Looks great! Slightly off-topic, but does anybody know what's that free space widget on the desktop?

It is a slightly older build, but it is a good step forward in my opinion.
You can install it along with Chromium, so updates should be separated. Google says it install the repository too, but I couldn't find any references to it in the "Software Sources".

Identical other than a different logo, and a disclaimer pops up in a window on first-run.

The taskmanager option (greyed out) is only on the chromium build (which is slightly newer).
Everything on my desktop are screenlets, 'cept the downloads thing which is a launcher/shortcut to ~/Downloads.
