Wow, quite a story. I really hope that David was innocent and got what he deserved. The odds of winning such a case are slim at best, and I'd hate to see his odds be wasted based on social manipulation.

When David Bain's most recent trial began, some folks noted a similarity between his and the case that inspired the movie "Beyond Reasonable Doubt (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080432/)"

C'mon guys, would you care to be wrongly accused of murder and spend time in jail?

is that a trick question?

I wouldn't mind it entirely, as long as I wasn't accused of killing anyone I actually liked. For all I know, prison might be quite nice.

Nope.... real news item and real case (http://www.3news.co.nz/News/David-Bain-talks-about-the-life-changing-58-day-trial/tabid/1089/articleID/107463/cat/185/Default.aspx). And some people have seen parallels with another case that inspired the movie "Beyond reasonable doubt" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080432)

I don't like how that article was written. Whoever wrote that article probably didn't think Mr. Bain was innocent.
