Greetings,
I am trying to set up dual monitors in Kubuntu 9.04. When I plug in my external monitor to my laptop (VGA) it is not shown under the Display Settings. I am currently using Twinview set up under the nVidia Settings, but I would like to set it up so it isn't just considered to be a single display, so I can have separate settings for each monitor.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, if you need any more information I would be more than happy to provide it.

Notebook: HP Pavillion DV66004nr
Graphics Card: nVidia Corporation GeForce 7150M

I thought TwinView was using them to display a single desktop space. Isn't what you're talking about using them as separate X screens?

Yes, that is correct, but when i enable them as separate X screens, the background is Grey and there is no taskbar. I am just using Twinview as of now because that is the only way that will currently work.
