yes and blues in general, i will be 66 this year so have been a fan for years. also like Jethro Tull and for something completely different Tangerine dream and Craftwerk.

i forget what it was called, but my favorite album of his was the one that featured the then 17yr. old mick taylor.

no, bluesbreakers was the name of his band. 'bare wires' was the album i was thinking about. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Mayall

I's cool to hear from Bluesbreakers fans!

Bare Wires was one of the first albums I bought when I lived in St. Louis.

"Walking on Sunset" is another favorite.

Not a fan necessarily, but have a tenuous connection. My old man was an junior officer in the Korean war and guess who was in his platoon? :)
