I recently upgraded to 9.04 and the loading screen appears once I start my desktop but goes blank when the login screen is about to come up. I can run in safe mode and am able to access the boot menu but the monitor won't load the login screen (I can hear the login sounds through the speaker but no visuals) Also I seem to have lost the ability to switch OSs in the boot menu. Before, I was dualbooting Vista with Ubuntu and both were available to choose from but once I upgraded to 9.04 Vista completely disappeared and now all of the options say Ubuntu.
