Proftpd config - cannot overwrite files

I am unable to overwrite files when using an ftp client. From what I have read, this is the default in the config, even though the AllowOverwrite on. Can someone please point me in the right direction to allow to overwrite files, without having to delete then add? I tried doing this:

Permissions problem?

Well the permissions are all rwxr-xr-x for everything that the FTP server has access to. The problem is just that I have to delete the file on the server in order to upload a new file. It is just a config that I have yet to uncover.
