weird symbol in conky

hi,

I've used this code for my calendar http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=5340730&postcount=6

And it works fine, but I get this weird symbol (picture below) at the begining of the calendar.

I've tried to change font, use monospace fonts (and reverse), make a separate conky with just the calendar... but nothing works.

Has anyone get this problem?

this is my first real post after long time reading. Almost every problem had been solved before ;) I write this new thread because for some reason I coulnt write on the original one.
