Hi everyone, very long time no see. I saw a Linux-customized Lenovo X Series selling somewhere online (I believe it runs Ubuntu out of the box). Has anybody here used Linux on one of the these tablets? I imagine that it comes down to the drivers, so most distros should offer a similar experience in terms of tablet functionality.

i have an X200 sitting next to me, but have not tried *nix on it. i can certainly boot a live cd when i have time in the next couple of days though and let you know.

Thanks! I hope you don't end up wasting your time...I would be surprised if a tablet worked well off of a live CD (if it did, I'd just order it directly form Lenovo and install a distro myself).

I have an x41 tablet, tablet part works out of box.

you just have to do

sudo apt-get install wacom-tools xserver-xorg-input-wacom
