I was wondering if anyone could point me to a how-to on downloading updates for ubuntu 9.04 for making manual updates to offline boxes. Im playing with linux at work and can not put my test box on the network, I installed the latest iso 9.04. I just installed this on another box back at home and found updates when I ran the update manager, so Im just curious to see if I can download the latest updates to usb thumb drive and manually update the test box at work.

Did a quick search of the forums and didn't see what I was looking for. Cry your pardon if this is FAQ.

Yes, you can use Keryx (http://keryxproject.org/).

Hope that helps.

looks like the perfect solution, trouble figuring it out yet though. I found a tutorial online, but it might be out dated as the version has changed.
