Hi All,

Just wondering, what OS do you use in your Netbook?

Do you use regular softwares or some small footprint softwares?

I am using Ubuntu Jaunty desktop edition with regular supplied softwares.

Have you done anything in particular to enhance the performance of your little machine? I cannot compromise with looks.

Cheers,
SK

I like the look and speed of Moblin2 Beta but it is quite useless except surfing and editing documents etc.

I like the look of Moblin but it can't access Samba shares yet, so unfortunately it's not appropriate for my needs. My heart is warmed by the rumour that the Moblin interface is going to be placed above an Ubuntu base, because then I'll be on it! (but in the meanwhile I might try the OpenSUSE Moblin).

I'm using Ubuntu Intrepid on both my Atom-based machines. Netbook and home server.
