hello,

i' ve installed ubuntu today, and it worked fine.
however, after a crash, it wouldn't boot, complaining that NTLDR is missing.
i've googled a bit and checked the forums, but all point to things with windows. i'm not using windows.
i' ve tried formatting and re-installing ubuntu, both entire disk and through new partitions manually.
what' s the cause of this and how do i fix it?

use DBAN or Killdisk on your hard drive, then partition, format, and re-install
