Hello,

I searched the Ubuntu Forums archives and also did a Google search on this topic, but I was not able to find the answer I was looking for.

I am using the Kontact suite and enjoy it very much. I want to backup data from KMail, KCalendar, etc., onto a USB drive or upload it onto SpiderOak. What I would like to know is where I can find the data files I need to backup onto the UBS or other media. In other words, what are the names of the files where the personal data is stored?

For others who might be wondering where the Kontact suite may be located: go to usr/share/kde4/apps. Once you are there, you will see folders named "KMail," "KNotes," "KOrganizer," etc.

Much appreciated for your time.

Sorry to bump this back up to the top.... Does anyone have any leads?

Thanks for any assistance.
