problems with sata disk

Have a sata disc that ubuntu just reads one of the partitions,it says at startup that the 2 other partitions are not ready......i need whats on that partitions......cant read in win xp what to do....??????anuone......:)

it shows in dev......have never used ubuntu....happy for all help.....

Can you open Terminal and type:


sudo fdisk -l

The "l" is the letter l and not the number 1. Please post the result in a codebox, if possible.
