My screen goes black (every 5 or 10 mins) if the computer is idle.
I've turned off acpi in both bios and ubuntu, turnd off compiz. set the screensaver to 2 hours. Power management is set to never turn off screens.
Still the damn screen goes black.
The machine is a acer revo with a nvidia card running the latest beta driver.
Any tricks to get the screen not going into black/standby mode?
My setup is a regular Ubuntu 9.04
