Hello. :D I need a new external hard-drive, can anybody show me an external hard-drive that fits these following specifications that has decent reviews?:

Under 50 USD, preferably around $30
Is NOT a seagate
Has around 80gigs
Linux-compatable, able to be reformated (I should hope so!) and preferably Windows-compatable (but not required.)
Is not made or shipped by some shady dealer. Preferably Newegg/Amazon, or some other trustworth dealer.
Does not overheat over prolonged use.

Thanks :) It's nice having other views and opinions before buying new hardware.

Buy a seagate hard drive and put it in an enclosure yourself. Seagate's warranties last 5 years. An encolsure is about $10.

I have a Western Digital in a Welland external disk case (740T). Beautiful combo: quiet and fast drive + case with eSata 3Gb.

However you didn't mention whether you want a 3.5" or 2.5" drive.

No reviews, though.

Enclosure (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817794003)
&

Goes over the $50 budget, but is double the capacity and in my experience, Samsung drives are outstanding.
