Hello, all. The title is self-explanatory: I would like to know how to cleanly uninstall software I've installed through a Git repository or anything ".tar", ".bin", ".run", or a from-source install.
Deb packages are easy: you just use Synaptic or apt-get to remove/purge what you don't want. Other methods are... not so self-evident.
I'm not experiencing any immediate crisis, so this is fairly low-priority, but any information on the subject would be well-appreciated.
Thanks!
