I'm looking for a good GameBoy Color emulator of Linux. People have been telling me that VisualBoyAdvance and TuxBoy are the best, but VisualBoyAdvance has sound issues and TuxBoy isn't very configurable.

That's not solving my problem, just ignoring it.

It is possible to modify the sound quality in vba in the visualboyadavnce.cfg file which makes it less bad. I have tried a couple of emulators and I only recommended vba because its the one I've had most success with

other than that

http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/gba/

has a list of alternatives

anything smaller generally wont work as well anyway.

Also, there are actually fixes about but they seem pretty dependent on what you are running

To be honest the best thing to do would be to just try a few and see what works best for you
