How would one remove/uninstall an application
when there no sign of in add/remove or package manager?

i think i downloded and
a package manager opened it. buti cant find iit
i could probably find files and folders but that will leave hidden trace behind

Use synaptic, and search for the name of the app. Then you can right-click on the checkbox and select Mark for Complete Removal.

mis-typed it
