Hi folks,

Microsoft has made me a little gun shy of jumping in immediately and upgrading as soon as some major update is available.

So I applied that same principal to the upgrade from 8.11 (i think .11 is correct) to the Jaunty J. 9.04. Today the updater in 8.xx told me again that there is an upgrade, so I decided to take the plunge. The upgrade went very smoothly.

Now I have mouse problems.

On the up side I can now see my menu items in Opera browser, on the down side my mouse buttons stop working when I open either Opera or Firefix Browsers. The only way I can navigate the menus is to use key commands and the tab key to get around the desktop.

If I 'Alt F4' either browser, then right mouse click on the desktop, I can get a vertical menu pop-up. Now my left mouse will work again.

I tested some other Apps and the mouse works fine. It's just the browsers.

Any body have a clue what might be going on?

Thanks
