Missing Icons/Launchers after Install

All,

I installed Amanda Backup and IsoMaster, but have no Desktop ICons nor Launchers in the "Applications" launcher bar.

Amanda shows it's config file in /etc/amanda

IsoMaster is not showing any files on the system.

Need to know what to look for to make sure install is correct for both and then how to build launcher/desktop icons, etc.

Well, it depends how you installed them. Did you use apt-get or synaptic, or did you download from a site?

Now have the ISO Master icon, still nothing on Amanda.

Just got notified of your response even though I see it was a week ago...?

Anyway, usually applications end up in /usr/bin. First hit preferences > main menu, and see if your app is there. You can add/remove apps from your Applications menus here.

If not already in the list, click add and enter the path to where the program is located. New item > browse...
