Dear forum members,
Is it possible to select the windowmanager with grub.
What I want is either to start the standard GNOME or fluxbox "bypassing" gdm (by using the AutomaticLogin feature).
I thought of using two different runlevels, but I really don't know
- how to start a different runlevel by grub ( i tried to put the runlevel number as a kernel parameter, but this didn't work)
- how to tell the booting runlevel to set up gdm to start up the right windowmanager...
Any ideas welcome...
Thanks in advance...
Johann
