Hi!

Introducing myself.

Been a dos/windows user for over 25 years. Started using Ubuntu 01-09.

All of my machines are running 9.04 flawlessly.

Retired very early, living downstate.

Welcome...I'm in just about the same boat as you...minus about 12 years Windows usage. Been using Ubuntu (and trying out about 5 other distros) for the past 6 months and recently I've made move to make Ubuntu my primary OS.

Just figured I'd let you know you're not the only Non Chigago Ubuntu user from Illinois.

It's good to see more people from across the state! Although I'm basically as far away from you guys as possible - if I throw a rock from my backyard, I can nearly hit Wisconsin ;)

Yeah, one more from southern Illinois here! \\:D/ I recently moved to St. Louis, but I still frequent the Illinois side of the river.
