I have been struggling to run a program called WebMerge that I downloaded from the Web. I have already searched the Repositories and it is not available. It has an application/x executable type file that I have been trying to run from the terminal but to no avail. When I use the sh command it throws some gibberish and ./file-name does not seem to work. Appreciate your help.

I did a quick search and found this: http://www.fourthworld.com/products/webmerge/download.html#wm2

vasla29: Don't forget to use the Linux version!

I just downloaded the zip file of the Linux version to have a look for ideas.

It looks like you'll have to extract the zip file to its own folder and run the file "4W Webmerge-X"
