I just upgraded from 8.10 to 9.04 using the upgrade manager. After restarting it appears I can't get synaptic package manager, update-manager, add/remove programs, aptitude, or apt-get to work. They all produce a segmentation fault. I think the solution is to reinstall apt-get by means of compiling source. I can't seem to find said source. If anyone knows where to find that source, I would appreciate it, or if you have other options besides reinstalling Ubuntu entirely, that would be appreciated.

I found the .deb for apt and installed that via dpkg. It seems to be working now.
