Hi
I have just installed Ubuntu for the first time - my last Linux system was Mandriva and I left the /home in place deleting all (I thought) of the KDE folders.
When I log in I get a window asking if I want to make KDE4 my default desktop. Of course I don't - it isn't even there.
I can "Just log in" but it stays there for next time. The message says that the xclient script is not present. I have checked the repository for any likely looking software for the job but didn't see any.
Is somebody able to send me in the right direction to get rid of this message.
Thanks
John
