Unload Frub without win xp Recovery Console

I have a machine that needs to have ubuntu 8.04 and Grub loader removed. Is there a way to remove grub loader without having to use the win xp recovery console? It wants a password to access the console which i do not have. Can the fixmbr be ran from the run cmd?

I don't believe that you can run fixmbr from the run command because XP is running at the time.

Howver, you can download and burn the SuperGrubDisk from the link below and use it to restore the XP MBR:
