Drivers for the N8610 itautec notebook

Hi, i´m new to ubuntu and i would like to install the 9.04 version in my n8610 itautec notebook but i´m afraid i won´t have the drivers needed. I went trough itautec homepage and they only have windows drivers there. What should i do? I believe those drivers won´t do for ubuntu and i can´t find linux alternatives anywhere. So i came here! Help me free myself from windows graps! (hehe)

I am having the same problem.

I installed Ubuntu on an Itautec machine, and now I cannot play DVDs.

Any help greatly appreciated.
