Hello everybody.

Does epiphany browser have a bug in jaunty xubuntu?
I noticed that when I boot or reboot my xubuntu pc, epiphany opens on the desktop when I get to the desktop. Is this a bug? Or is epiphany perhaps on autostart or something? I looked around the settings and I could not find any epiphany autostart anywhere..
Am I missing something?

Thanks very much!

Just a question. Did you check your start-up programs? You can find a list of programs that start on boot at System-Preferences-Startup Programs. It may be listed there. If it is, and there is a tick mark in it, uncheck it, and the program will not run when you start-up.

I hope this helps.

Thanks! It was not on the start-up programs..
But the weird thing was, I checked the box which says save session for future logins when I logged out and viola! epiphany does not auto start anymore! Weird because it means that during startup with a new session, epiphany will autostart..
I remembered another Xubuntu install I saw, it was orage that autostarts.. I wonder why.. a Xubuntu feature, maybe?

Glad it worked out for you. Sometimes the simplest solutions work the best.
