I have a acer ase380-ud421a and I was wondering if this setup would be compatible with the newest version of linux.

If these are your systems specs --
Acer Aspire ASE380-UD421A Desktop 2.6GHz 1GB 320GB DVDRW DL Processor Speed 2.6GHz.
Then you can run 9.04.

But listing your video card might help, since there are known conflicts with some.

Best to test-drive the live CD, as any problems will be apparent.

Well I did the install and everything turned out fine, but for some reason my speakers stopped working after a day. I installed Skype and some printer drivers and I also added a plug-in to the default media player so it can minimize to tray and thats it. What could do this?
