Hi,

I have searched Google and found some good tutorials on installing 9.04 Desktop persistently on a USB flash drive.

I have not however found any for the netbook remix.

I was wondering if this was possible?

For example THIS (http://www.pendrivelinux.com/usb-ubuntu-904-persistent-install-windows/) tutorial suggests using something called a 'casper-rw loop file'.

Should it all work the same for the netbook remix? Or Should things be done differently?

Many thanks for any help!

:)

well if you are trying to do this on a netbook like the asus eeepc you can use eeebunut nbr http://www.eeebuntu.org/ version install it with the usb installer in ubuntu and select the persistent install option. that would be the easiest way.
