Hi everyone,
I've installed FreeCiv from the Ubuntu repositories, and it produces a window that won't maximise.
That isn't per se a huge problem, as I can mostly resize it. But emphasis on the 'mostly'.
The problem is that I can only resize it from two sides - the left and right. The bottom side is hidden by the Gnome task bar so I can't move it as I can't get to it.
The top edge simply won't resize. If the window started off small enough, I could see the bottom edge and presumably resize from there, but since I can't I must use the top edge. Which won't work. And thus I end up with part of the screen always hidden by the taskbar.
I haven't a clue what to try next - all suggestions gratefully received!
