I've noticed that Evolution is much worse at rendering particular emails than, for instance, Firefox. The only emails for which I take issue with this defect are those from something called "Smartsheet". They may contain incorrect HTML, I don't know.

Anyway, here's one of those in Evolution:

and in Firefox (after manually creating an .html file from the email):

The only thing I'm really missing is the table cell background colors since those highlight actual changes made to the smartsheet.

Anyone know if there's a simple way to improve the way Evolution renders HTML?
Is there some way to say "view this HTML email in Firefox?"
Anyone written an evolution plugin? If so, is this something that could be done in a weekend by a mediocre C programmer?

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty). Thanks!
