"Failed to create drawable"

I made the upgrade to Jaunty recently, and I seem to be having a problem running a Python script that ran perfectly fine before. The script is here (http://brainworkshop.sourceforge.net/): it's a brain training game called Brain Workshop. I've tried running it under regular Python, regressing to the suggested python2.5, and I get the same error: "Failed to create drawable," along with an empty black window.

Any idea what's going on?
