Developers motivation

Hello,

My friend is writing his master thesis on Open Source developers' motivation and needs primary data on the subject. I would like to ask any of you who develop or have developed Open Source software to fill in a survey (http://bit.ly/surveymotivation).

It's a relatively short survey with less than 20 multiple choice questions and a short list of statements. Your 10 mins of time to fill in the survey is greatly appreciated by him!

Just the multiple choice strongly agree to strongly disagree ones.

Take me e.g. I am applying for early retirement due to a disability. Currently I have no honest way to answer the questions regarding future career improvements, not even being neutral can imply that it simply doesn't factor into my rational for doing Free Software development.
