how to change icons ????

Hi all ....
Iam using ubuntu 8.1 and want to chage my icons so I went to system - preferences but I donot found the icon in the menu ??!!!
how can I CHANGE MY ICONS

download icon pack from gnome-look.org

open terminal, type:


gksu nautilus

enter passwd

navigate to /usr/share/icons

paste the package there and extract it among other default icon packs, go to desktop right click appearance settings themes, customize upper tabs theres icons tab, go there and suite yourself.

in the first tab click customize.
