View Full Version : [ubuntu] Nautilus not enough memory in 9.04 Live CD

desktop background is black in color..able to see only my top and bottom panel..all menus are displayed in top panel..
couldnt choose Places->Computer...
gettin Nautilus low memory error..

i got
512 MB RAM(2 256 MB banks),
ASUS board with Intel P4 processor 2.4 GHz,
VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82845G/GL[Brookdale-G]/GE Chipset Integrated Graphics Device (rev 03)

Internet working fine...any suggestion plz...is that due to compiz problem..
how to fix this?

Have you disabled compiz?

May i know how to disable compiz in Live CD?
Normally after installation i remove compiz,compiz-core packages..
But i hav no idea how to do it in Live CD:-(
