Hi, i've just bought a compaq presario CQ40-140ax with these spec:
- CPU : AMD Turion Dual-Core RM-70 (2.0GHz ,1MB L2 cache)
- Chipset : ATI RX781 (Discrete) AMD M770 Chipset
- Ram : 1024MB ,667 DDR2
- Display : ATI Discrete PCI Express x 16 Graphics ATI Radeon 3450 with RAM 256 MB
- Hard Disk : 160GB ,5400RPM (Serial ATA)
and i decided to try ubuntu-9.04-desktop-amd64.
The problem is, i've succeded boot from cd but when i select and hit 'enter' on INSTALL UBUNTU option-the installation process won't begin, in fact it just freeze :(.

is there any suggestion/solution for this? thanks for any help here
