finally got ubunto 9.04 installed and patched (windows died, virus). Got Wine installed.

The installer ran for City of Hero's , and it even downloaded about 800 megabytes in patches. But when it gets past that , it gets to the screen where you must accept the license agreement and then halts. And no license agreement displays either.

Do I need a copy of IE installed to run City of hero's ? Is there even such a thing for Linux / Wine ? Because I understand a lot of these games open up a copy of internet exploder , even if only just for a bit , just to vender lock them to micro $oft .

Help ?

This is a bug common to many COH players on Ubuntu. for some reason the EULA just wont load. a quick solution is when you have the NEXT-> button, double click, so the EULA has no time to load. the good thing about the updater is that their default choice is ACCEPT. hope this helps it helps me
