I really need a dataset to play with, I created this questionnaire. All answers are anonymous. If you're feeling generous today, please take a minute to complete it. It's only 5 questions.

No longer taking responses

Edit: I have 85 responses now. I'm going to go ahead and stop accepting responses, this is going to take a while to do what I want to do.

Thanks for all of your support. If this generates high interest, I'll be doing many more and hopefully they will concern Ubuntu

Takes about 10 seconds to help out. And don't worry, you don't have to work out any math problems!

I wasn't sure if I should pick algebra or calculus as my favorite. But I really love doing algebra even thought it is very fun making and solving problems with calculus.

My career involves lots of trigonometry and a few other specialised subjects. That's good: I'd always hated mathematics at school, and now I've learned to love it. It gave me the balls to attempt programming, which was another bonus.

The way I look at mathematics now is rather like this: the most basic skill is transposition of formulae. That's the grammar, the syntax. Learn that, and the rest is just vocabulary.

I'm just in Algebra 1. I'm only a freshman in high school, will be a sophomore next year. Only 2 days left of this year :D. I've really been turned on to math this year. I love any statistics type thing. I like being able to say "So many people from this group feel this way about this thing."

I started programming (PHP) last year in the 8th grade.

That's good! I want very diverse answers. I want to know how people in general feel, not just people of a certain group. :)
