I am unable to burn any Video DVDs due to this message... "Please replace disk with supported CD or DVD. It is not possible to write with the current set of plug-ins."
It is not my dvd burner as it works fine in Windows and it will burn in any format.
Once you add an .avi video file, and click next, this message pops up.
I have seen some other posts in like the multimedia forum, so it seems to be happening allot, but no solution.
Any ideas out there?

I was just about to ask about Medibuntu!
I was reading this thread "Comprehensive Multimedia & Video Howto" and was wondering if I go thru all those instructions, that they might help.
But being I am work this wonderful Memorial Holiday, I won't be able to try until I get home.
If anybody else has tried it, let me know!

I install the Medibuntu repos as one of the first steps of tweaking after doing an install of Ubuntu. I have not encountered any problems.

Well I tried everything in the HowTo, and added the Medibuntu to the repository from the link above. Still the same problem.
I was able to copy a video file to an iso in DeVeDe, then burn it to a disc with K3B, but would really like to have it all wrapped in one package like Brasero.
Anybody figure out what's causing this yet?
