i just finished building a linux box and did a fresh install ubuntu9.04 . with a 17'' and 20"ws monitors (lcd) tara bight hd 8g ram antec gaming case cool master power supply on a intel media board running a dual core chip . is any one else buiding and installing ubuntu ?

I did build mine on november, this is it (my prrrecciouss :lolflag: ):

iC2D E8600
nVidia GeForce 260 GTX
nVidia nForce 750i
Antec chasis
Coler master 550w

Anything else?

I've built 2, one for me, one for my mom. Mine is AMD 4850e, 4gig ram, nVidia 7300. Mom's is similar with AMD 5200.

Incidentally, I converted mom, and she LOVES Ubuntu, and she'll never go back.;)

Did mine a couple months ago. Specs below, + 32 inch HDTV monitor. Aside from the HDD's and case I purchased everything new. And set up Raid0 for the first time (was easy).

Xubuntu in next room, old Dell P4 system with the HDD from my old Imac :) runs nice for watching tv shows, or just tinkering with networking.

I put a machine together this past Febuary.
I currently 'triple' boot and I am quite happy with the choices I made in putting it together:
