Grub error 17 after install (Vista+9.04)

Hi,

after installation of 9.04 I receive this:



GRUB Loading stage1.5.

GRUB loading, please wait...
Error 17

I tried this (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1166297&highlight=grub+error+17) but not working.

My setup:
sda SATA HD with Vista (NTFS)
sdb SATA HD with Data (NTFS)
sdc IDE HD with Ubuntu (Ubuntu decided partitions)

Help pls :)

btw: I'm totally new to this...

Sure it is. I am sure when you started using Windows you didn't have the knowledge about Windows that you have now. Remember Rome was not built in a day! You just need the willingness to learn and invest some time in learning Ubuntu just like you did way back when you were a noob at Windows.

If on the other hand you are not willing or are just looking for a "better" version of Windows you will hate Linux.
