I have installed Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope - released in April 2009. It is somehow not detecting the wireless card I have on my laptop (Dell Vostro 1710). I tried everything, installing driver through window wireless drver installer. When I install a new driver through it, it say no hardware present. I have no clue why its saying so.

Detect that I have the wireless card properly attached
How do I install driver for it
How to enable wireless once everything is properly installed and configured.
A quick response will heghly be appriciated.
